MY ANSWER:

I’m so sorry for the loss of your angel, Crickett. The emptiness after they depart is overwhelming. We miss them every single moment of every day. The irony is that the animals don’t miss us as we miss them, but there is a good reason.

Your beloved Crickett is always near, so there is not much to miss. Our departed pets still follow us around, spend time with us, go on errands with us, and sleep near us, so there is a lot of togetherness even though you cannot sense them.

Our beloved pets are always okay in the afterlife. In fact, better than okay. They are perfect.
