- SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION OPPORTUNITIES -

SOPHIE is a beautiful 2 year old tabby Sophie SOPHIE is a beautiful 2 year old tabby waiting for someone special to adopt her into their loving home.
Having spent the past 18 months in an adoption center, she has proven that she is a very smart, well adjusted funny girl with her expressive eyes and entertaining ways!

Sophie truly deserves to find her forever home, someone who is a true "cat person" understanding the delicate balance of love and patience, allowing her the space she needs. She can be very independent but responds well when she is given love and praise. She would do best as an only pet in an adult home.

She is current on her shots, spayed, microchipped and tested negative for FEV and FIV.

Forever Home Found For Sara !!! Thank You !

Buster 10-yr-old German Shepherd mix Meet Sara - Australian Cattle Dog

Sara is approx. 3 years old and has a very sweet disposition. She came from a Spokane shelter where overcrowding is almost always a big problem.

Sara is sweet and loving with a wonderful energy to learn. Sara LOVES everyone she meets and is very affectionate. She is crate trained & house broken. This is a medium energy ACD so a few walks and some weekend hikes would keep her happy.

She does seem a bit too interested in cats at this point, so a cat free home is what we will be looking for.

Contact Heeling Hearts ACD Rescue to inquire about Sara.

Forever Home found for Buster! Thank you to the family who adopted him.

Buster 10-yr-old German Shepherd mix Buster
Buster is a special case that needs someone to love him in his last years. Buster is a German Shepherd mix, 10 yr old neutered male. Buster's original family decided after 10 years to move to a place where no dogs were allowed.

He had a very large growth on his side which was removed. It was a fatty tumor the size of a cantaloupe or bigger. They removed two other tumors... all benign. Also Buster had a pellet removed from under his skin as he had been shot at some point.

Buster's health is good now and he is just looking for someone to love him. He is currently in a foster home in the Spokane area. Buster gets along well with dogs and cats and apparently kids. He is very, very sweet and mellow.

This kitty needs a special home...

Serengeti young female kitten Serengeti
This is a little girl born with Manx Syndrome. The gene causes spinal defects and can be fatal, but Serengeti is dealing well with her disability. Serengeti has limited mobility in her rear legs, but in the past few weeks she has regained some mobility. She is stretching her legs and using them more. She has a bladder issue and leaks urine. Serengeti is a happy-go-lucky little girl. She does not know that she has a disability. She gets around fine and likes to play with her littermates. She loves people and she would make a great cat. She needs a home that can help her with this difficult challenge.
